Remote Assistance
Mundaring PC Support provides Remote assistance for those who are having problems with their computer settings. Charges for the assistance is $20 per half hour block. Below are instructions for setting up your windows computer for help with remote assistance with Mundaring PC Support.
Allow Windows to accept remote AssistanceBefor setting up a remote assistance, please first check that you computer is set to allow connection. Right click on "My Computer" which is found off the Windows Star button, and select properties. This will bring up the system properties window, and then you select the "remote" tab. Make sure that bothe boxes are ticked as shown below. |

Sending an invitation for Remote AssistanceOpen the Remote Assistance wizard in the Help and Support Centre. This can be done by clicking on the Remote Assistnce shortcut on the "all Programs" button, off the start menu, or simply opening the Help and Support Centre from the Start Menu, and clicking on the " invite a friend to help you with Remote Assistance" link. Eith way will bring up the window below. Simply click "Invite someone to help you".
Type remote@mundaringpcsupport.com.au into the email address space, then click "Invite the person".
Enter your name in the space provided, and a summary of the problem that needs attention and click continue.
Enter a time limit for the invitation (no more then 3 days) and enter a password. Please then send your password in a seperate email to support@mundaringpcsupport.com.au. This will then allow us to access your computer securely. Click on send invitation to complete the process.

You can check on the status of your invitation by clicking on "View invitation status"
