Lost button icons

I had a load of buttons I could push next to my start button but they have now disappeared. How can I get them back?

Simply Right click on a clear space along the bottom bar next to your Start Button. This opens a menu. At the top of the list is "Toolbars".

Go in and check the menu list item "Quick Launch".

So that you don't lose them again, just right click on the blue bar at the bottom of your screen again, and make sure that the "Lock Toolbars" menu item is ticked.
